Who operates this service

The operator of outbid.digital controls the data described in this notice. Privacy requests can be sent to privacy@outbid.digital.

Information we process

• Listing data: submitted and normalized URLs, domains, titles, descriptions, bid amounts, ranking timestamps, and public click totals.
• Payment records: checkout, order, amount, and payment-status identifiers supplied by our payment provider. We do not receive or store complete card numbers.
• Traffic data: IP address and browser user-agent are combined with a private salt and converted into a one-way visitor hash. We store the hash, first/last-seen times, hourly click events, and aggregate counts to measure live users and deduplicate clicks.
• Device preference: your light/dark theme choice is saved locally in your browser. We do not use advertising cookies.

Why we use it

• To process bids, publish rankings, redirect listing clicks, prevent manipulation, and provide live audience statistics.
• To secure the service, investigate abuse, resolve payment issues, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
• Where applicable, processing is based on performing the service you request, our legitimate interests in operating and protecting it, consent where required, and legal obligations.

Service providers and transfers

Cloudflare-powered OpenAI Sites provides hosting and database infrastructure. Polar processes checkout and payment information when payments are enabled. These providers process information under their own terms and may operate in countries other than yours.

Retention and security

Bid, order, and listing records are retained while needed to operate the leaderboard, handle disputes, and meet financial or legal requirements. Visitor hashes and detailed click events are retained only while useful for fraud prevention and audience measurement; aggregate statistics may be kept longer. We use access controls, hashing, and managed infrastructure, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection regarding your personal data. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority. Email privacy@outbid.digital; we may need enough information to verify and locate your record.

We may update this notice as the product or law changes. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are published.
